Young Tony (Johnny Massaro) decides to return to Remanso, Serra Gaúcha, his hometown. When he arrives, he discovers that Nicolas (Vincent Cassel), his father, returned to France claiming to miss his friends and country of origin. Tony ends up becoming a teacher, and finds himself amid youth conflicts and inexperience.
